What are are the Estimated Costs Associated With Surrogacy?

There are several factors that will impact your total cost of surrogacy, so pre-determining your final surrogacy cost can be challenging. We estimate that Surro Connections typical Surrogate birth will cost between $85,000 and $125,000. This includes all the costs of surrogacy including our agency fees, the surrogate’s compensation and expenses, fertility clinic and legal fees.

Calculating the Costs

Factors that could increase your cost substantially include:

  • costs for health insurance for the Surrogate or child (International Parents)
  • multiple pregnancy (twins or triplets)
  • complications and/or unforeseen circumstances
  • the need for an egg donor
  • multiple IVF cycles

It’s important to be prepared for both the best and worst case scenarios for your Surrogacy. Keep in mind that whether you are using your own eggs, or those of an egg donor, your odds for success tend to reduce with increases in age. The more times you have to attempt fertilization, the more cost is involved.
